The facts
Lostfound finds lost files. It does what MobleySoft's Unlost does on a Mac (find by name, search inside files, open a hit, hand over a context pack) in a browser tab, on a folder you choose, with nothing installed and nothing uploaded.
Who we compete with
Lostfound is a MobCorp firm built to compete with mobleysoft.com (Unlost). Same capability underneath, a different company on top: its own name, angle, look and staff.
Where it stands
A live preview with no paying customers yet. It reads text files up to 2 MB each; other files are found by name, size and date.
Our cowlick
Every MobCorp firm supplies one typed call to the others through the Cowlick Exchange. Ours is lostfound.find: Brief in, Dataset out. Finds the files that match a sibling's query in a folder the person chose, with snippets.
